Let's Try This Again...

I miss, miss, miss you guys! I also miss being able to sew, but so much has happened since I last posted.

I passed all 5 **intense** summer classes with straight A's!!!!! I'm so proud of myself, it was so challenging! I now go on to the next phase of this one year master's program in teaching and start my Teacher Interning tomorrow, Monday, Aug 22nd. I will be in classes with my mentor teacher for 5 days to help prepare the classroom for the first day of school, which starts on Aug 29th. I will then be in the class for the first 5 days of school, in addition to taking 3 more classes and an intern class for 2.5 hrs in the evening.

I'm not sure how I will get my children to their activities, help with homework, cook, clean and give my husband some attention, but the Lord will make a way, as he did over this summer!  I'm not sure how I ended up here, because, no where was teaching in my plans, but when you ask the Lord to take over and give him complete control, you get what you ask for! I feel at peace with my decision and very excited, but very nervous.

I am picking up the trenchcoat that I started sometime last Spring and I'll finish that as my first project heading into Fall, when I know I will definitely get some good use out of it.

I still plan to "kopy" celeb looks, but I will focus on classroom appropriate attire, because I definitely don't want to be the teacher who always wears jeans or looks shabby. I want to keep an aire of style about myself in the classroom!

I can't wait to have my own classroom and decorate it, and share all my trials and tribulations along the way of getting there. Hopefully, I can find time to post some cute accessories and projects for my grandbaby, my younger two kids, and of course me!

I really  need to add some staple pieces now, like a white button up shirt, denim shirt, some basic & simple dresses, casual pants etc....

This is going to be rough, as it already has been, but I really want to share how I get it all done with you guys!

Let's do this!
